Market regulatory authorities across China have investigated and dealt with 1,209 internet unfair competition cases since the beginning of 2023, according to news released on Thursday.

The SAMR has deepened anti-unfair competition law enforcement, severely cracking down on illegal internet word-of-mouth marketing and other unfair competition activities. Since 2021, a total of 14,692 cases of unfair competition have been investigated and dealt with.
Recently, the Beijing Intellectual Property Court awarded 2 million Yuan to IQiyi Technology Co., LTD. after founding that Anhui Blade Network Technology Company’s iQiyi account leasing service had constituted unfair competition.
