-The Winners of the 2024 IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program (Series)-
On 12 January, the 2025 Enterprise IP Strategy Forum and Annual Conference of In-house IP Managers kicked off at the Beijing International Hotel. At the grand party in that evening, the Launching Ceremony of the Selection and Training Program for Outstanding IP Practitioners and the Appointment Ceremony of Think Tank Experts (Training Mentors) were held and the winners of the 2024 Outstanding In-house IP Managers; 2024 Outstanding IP Service Teams; 2024 Outstanding International IP Service Teams; and 2024 Outstanding IP Management Teams under the IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program were unveiled.
The winners of the IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program will be released online in the near future.
2024 Outstanding In-house IP Managers
The IP Eagle Talents Selection and Training Program aims at exploring a new mechanism for the cultivation of high-level, multi-disciplinary and international IP talents. It is designed to implement the strategic requirements of the 15-year plan (2021-2035) on the development of intellectual property rights (IPR) and the 14th Five-Year Plan of IP Protection and Use, which are: creating a more open, more active and more dynamic environment for the development of IP talents; improving the mechanism for the training, evaluation, motivation and allocation of IP talents; and executing a special IP talent training program.
The candidates of 2024 Outstanding In-house IP Managers are: IP management and legal professionals from Chinese enterprises (state-owned, private, or joint-venture enterprises operating in China). The selection criteria are as follows: (1) candidates must abide by laws and regulations, uphold honesty and trustworthiness, and possess good professional ethics; (2) they should have more than five years of experience in intellectual property management or legal work within enterprises (this period does not include work experience in government agencies, service organizations, etc.); (3) they must play a pivotal role in intellectual property management, legal work, and team building within their respective enterprises;(4) preference will be given to those who have made outstanding contributions to the intellectual property cause of their industry or region in the past three years.
Nominations are received through self-nomination and recommendation. The results are decided through comprehensive evaluation by experts, and are hereby announced.
