2023 INTA Annual Meeting Live+ kicked off in Singapore on May 17th

The opening ceremony of the 2023 INTA Annual Meeting Live+ kicked off in Singapore on May 17th. China IP, as a long-term media partner of INTA, witnessed the grand gathering at the Sands Expo and Convention Exhibition Center in Singapore. At the opening ceremony, Jennifer Jones, President of Rotary International, Mr. Edwin Tong SC, minister for culture, community and Youth, and Second Minister for Law, Daren Tang, Director of the WIPO and Danny Marti, Head of Public Affairs and Global Policy at Tencent made keynote speeches. Mr Etienne Sanz de Acedo, INTA CEO, concluded the meeting and made a concluding statement and officially announced that the 2024 and 2026 INTA Annual Meeting will be held in Atlanta, Georgia (May 18-22) and Dubai (May 16-20), respectively.

The 2023 INTA Annual Meeting provides a nice opportunity for in-person registrants with 250+ table topics, 150+ committee meetings, 10+ receptions, as well as a number of BD Excursions, and speed networking sessions, covering trending IP issues in the metaverse, artificial intelligence and blockchain fields. It is also a valuable chance for the 151 exhibitors registered this year (68 new) to meet clients from all over the world.

According to official data released by INTA , this years annual meeting attracted more than 8,000 registrants from 140 countries. By the day before the opening ceremony (May 16), the number of in-person registrants reached 7,545, with the top five countries being the United States (1093), China (830), India (424), the United Kingdom (405) and Singapore (317). In terms of geographical distribution, the Asia-Pacific region ranked first, accounting for 40%, followed by Europe (29%), North America (16%) and Latin America (6%).
