Chinese companies Anker and Tineco sued for patent infringement in US

US vacuum cleaner manufacturer Bissell Inc. and Bissell Homecare, Inc. on Feb. 1 filed a patent infringement lawsuit in a District Court of Delaware against Tineco Intelligent Inc., a subsidiary of TEK (Hong Kong) Science & Technology Ltd., of manufacturing and selling similar 'cross wave' cleaning products in violation of five patents.

 

Suzhou city, Jiangsu province-based Ecovacs Robotics (科沃斯机器人), sells cordless stick vacuums and wet dry surface cleaning devices under the brand Tineco (添可).

 

The case is 1:22-cv-00150, Bissell Inc. et al v. Tineco Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. et al.

MyPaq Holdings Ltd, a corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Republic of Seychelles, on February 10 filed a patent infringement lawsuit in a US District Court for the Western District of Texas against Changsha city, Hunan province-based Chinese electronics company Anker Innovations Ltd. (安克创新科技股份有限公司). The suit asserts two patents US Patent No. 7,675,759 and US Patent No. 8,477,514 related to power adapters and converters compatible with USB Type-C plugs.


Anker was founded in 2011 by ex-Google engineer Steven Yang, debuted on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on August 24, 2022.

 

The case is 6:22-cv-00150, MyPaq Holdings Ltd. v. Anker Innovations Ltd.
