Implementing Trademark Brand Strategy in Nanning, Guangxi

Nanning Municipal Market Supervision and Administration of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued a message that in recent years, the city has made remarkable achievements in the implementation of the brand strategy of trademarks. By the end of June this year, the total number of effective registered trademarks in the city reached 817,000, and the proportion of the whole region remained nearly 40%, ranking first in the whole region; in the first half of this year, the city added 245,500 new registered trademarks, an increase of 42.88% over the same period last year, much higher than the expected target. It is understood that Nanning attaches great importance to the cultivation of trademark brand, and constantly broadens the development of trademark brand in Nanning. Since this year, Nanning Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has carried out brand strategy in depth. The General Office of Nanning Municipal People's Government has held a meeting to promote market supervision and management. The Office of the Joint Meeting of Nanning Municipal Trademark and Brand Strategy Implementation has issued the Key Points of Trademark and Brand Work in 2019, which clearly defines the key trademark and brand work and direction of development.

At the same time, Nanning Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau also actively organizes various forms of publicity activities. Through publicity boards, on-site activities and news media, it extensively publicizes the achievements of trademark brand building, trademark laws and regulations, answers the problems encountered in trademark registration, use and management, and enlarges the impact in society. Implementing convenience measures relying on Nanning trademark counter to optimize the service environment and provide high-quality services for trademark applicants. Up to June 30, this counter has accepted 3265 applications for trademark registration, 903 applications for follow-up trademark business, and 5 pledge registration of trademark exclusive rights, involving 191 pledged registered trademarks, with the amount of secured creditor's rights reaching 377 million yuan.

It is learnt that the next step, Nanning Market Supervision and Administration Bureau will take the joint meeting system as the starting point, integrate all forces, actively cultivate brand names, further intensify publicity and guidance efforts, focus on enhancing the brand awareness of the main market trademarks, improve the "gold content" of brand names, and promote the construction and management work of the dual-venture base of Guangxi brand names (Nanning) to actively create a good environment for the development of trademark brand undertakings.
