Tsuburaya took "aoteman" to court, arguing that the company's actions constituted unfair competition.

In the end, the court ruled:

"aoteman" (China) Children's Products Co., Ltd. shall immediately stop using the company name of "aoteman" on the effective date of this judgment, and change the company name within 30 days from the effective date of this judgment. The company name after change shall not contain the word "aoteman";

"aoteman" (China) Children's Products Co., Ltd. and Li Xiyuan shall immediately stop the unfair competition behavior of using the product name with certain influence without authorization upon the effective date of this judgment;

"aoteman" (China) Children's Products Co., Ltd., and Li Xiyuan shall compensate the economic loss of CNY300,000 Yuan to the plaintiff, Tanju Production Co., Ltd., and CNY396,000 Yuan to Shanghai Xinchuanhua Cultural Development Co., Ltd.

Compensation for the reasonable expenses of CNY104,000 paid by Tanjaya Production Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Xinchuanghua Cultural Development Co., Ltd. to stop the infringement.
