The Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) of Tuquan County, Xing'an League, Inner Mongolia has taken multiple measures to continuously strengthen intellectual property work, actively utilize and use trademarks, and play the role of "trademark rich peasants" and help "precise poverty alleviation". 

The first is to promote innovative intellectual property development models. Six companies have been authorized to use geographical indication certification trademarks, and the economic development model of "leading enterprise (cooperative) + base + farmer + brand" has been initially formed, which has strongly promoted the high-quality development of the county’s agriculture, rural areas, and farmers’ economic industries and led increased agricultural efficiency and farmers’ income and promoted the goal of geographic indications to help alleviate poverty. 

The second is to strengthen the protection and management of geographical indication products. Protect it in accordance with the "Trademark Law of the People's Republic of China" and the "Administrative Measures for the Use of Geographical Indications (Trial)" issued by the China National Intellectual Property Administration; strictly formulate the authorization contract for geographical indication certification trademarks to ensure product quality; establish a complete and effective agreement with relevant departments coordinating mechanisms and protection systems, implementing specific regulatory measures, and strict quality requirements. 

The third is to strengthen the supervision of the production process of landmark products and standardize the production process of landmark products. Organize production in strict accordance with standards, strictly control market access, and ensure the quality and safety of landmark products; provide technical training and guidance on landmark product protection products; regulate the use of geographical indications and strengthen administrative guidance for registered geographical indications. 

The fourth is to strengthen publicity and promote industrial production. Promote brand advantages, attract powerful companies to join, carry out industrialized production and specialized marketing, let Tuquan County's characteristic products shine, go out, and continuously enhance national popularity and reputation; with the help of "March 15th Consumer Rights Protection Day", "April 26th World Intellectual Property Day" and other popular science festivals continue to carry out trademark legal knowledge "Enter communities, markets, enterprises, and rural areas" activities to create a strong geographical indication certification trademark registration and protection society Atmosphere.

In October 2020, the national geographical indication certification trademark "Tuquan Reed Chicken" was successfully registered, becoming the third geographical indication certification trademark in Tuquan County after the county's "Tuquan Millet" and "Tuquan Mung Bean". Pieces. In recent years, the county has attached great importance to trademark and brand strategy and has continuously strengthened its trademark brand building. Up to now, the county’s Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) has successfully registered common trademarks such as Dongquan melon and collective trademarks such as Guchunzhou. Currently, it is closely focusing on the county's economic development thinking of "Golden Corn Snow Cow". It has applied for the registration of trademarks such as Mengquanniu and Mengquan and is awaiting approval. At present, the county's trademarks have increased by 23 compared with the same period last year, a year-on-year increase of 29%. The total number of trademarks has reached more than 1,000. Both quantity and quality have improved significantly.

In the next step, the bureau will implement the establishment of a traceability system for geographical indication products and hire experts to conduct training on the implementation of the traceability system for each standard enterprise. The traceability system can achieve "one item, one code" for geographical indication products, prohibit anti-counterfeiting, severely crack down on infringement and other illegal activities, and increase protection. Promote the continuous improvement of the brand awareness and influence of geographical indications, increase the added value of products, increase the utilization rate of trademarks, realize trademark rich farmers, and promote precise poverty alleviation. Highlight the regional trademark brand of "Niu Mi Chunzhou, Hanggai Tuquan" special agricultural products, and make due contributions to economic development.
